Flesch reading ease runs from about 0 (very hard) to 100 (very easy); 60–70 is plain English. Syllables are estimated with a standard rule, so scores can differ slightly from other checkers. The 25-word sentence limit is a common rule of thumb, not a rule. Passive voice is found by pattern, so some matches (like "is tired") are adjectives — treat them as places to reread.
